  • Amitayus is the name given by Amitabha in his mark of devotee of longevity. Aparmita can be either a “crownedBuddha” or a “Bodhisatwa” and is therefore richly dressed and wears the thirteen ornaments. His hair is painted blue and falls to his elbows on both sides or is strangely coiled. Sits like a Buddha, hands resting on his lap in Dhyana Mudraand holding the ambrosia vase, his special emblem. The vase is richly decorated and from the lid fall four strings of beads representing sacredpills.
  • Obtaining the long life of the Lama is for the ceremony service-curious preliminary worship and demon worship. In the pillsfrom buttered dough and the ambrosia brewed from spirit or beerand are offered in a skull bowl to the great image of Aparmita.
