Zinresi is a form of the Bodhisatwa Avalokiteswara. He is also known as Six Sylbled Lokeswara. The six syllables are “OM MANI PADME HUM”, which are considered to be as effective as being hewn into rock faces and constantly sung by followers. It is always adorned with all kinds of ornaments. It is white in color, with a four-armed, carrying rosary in the right hand and a fully blown lotus in the left hand. The other two main hands are raised to the chest with the palms prescribed in Namaskar Mudra with a round object known as a “jewel” and regarded as a symbol of knowledge
