The Green Tara is considered a spiritual companion of Amogasiddhi, the Dhyani Buddha. It is represented similar to the white tare. The difference can only be found in her left hand, which holds a half-closed lotus or water lily flower with long, often blue petals. In the Lamaist tradition, Tara is incarnated in all good women.
