Thanka
A (Buddhist) thangka, loosely translated as “something rollable”, or something “to roll”, is one painted with opaque colors Cotton or silk fabric, often with elaborate bindings and sub-weaves.
As a rule, wooden struts are processed at the upper and lower edge, often with decorative buttons and two long ribbons. Thangkas are used for Buddhist meditation. At home, when parading, but also in temples and processions.
Deities, lamas, buddhas, and bodhisattvas are usually depicted, also the wheel of life or other symbols of Buddhism

White Tara
Of the two forms of Tara, White Tara is considered the consort of Avalokitesvara. On some occasions, she is depicted as the consort of Vairochana. She is usually portrayed seated, dressed, and crowned like a bodhisattva. She is sometimes regarded as Saptalochana, or Tara with seven eyes—with additional eyes on her forehead, palms, and feet, and a lotus flower on one or both of her shoulders. She sits in the full Vajra posture. Her right hand is in a touching gesture, while her left hand is in a teaching gesture, holding the stem of the lotus. She wears all manner of precious ornaments and is stunningly beautiful. The practice of White Tara is primarily performed to prolong life and for healing purposes.
